AwardSpace is the free web hosting service provided by ZettaHost solutions. They provide both free and paid hosting, and the main advantage of their free host over others is that they put no ads whatsoever on your website. They allow you to host your domain with them (does not have to be registered with their service), i.e. you get a professionally looking site for 0$ a month. The free plan includes

And some other features… I used this free host ages ago, and know a few people who use it still. I must say that despite some disadvantages of AwardSpace (such as lack of ads, FTP, loads of BW), the uptime guaranteed for free server, never really gets to the promised 99.8%. Your site hasto be images-free, optimized for fastest loading in order to load reasonably fast on this server. If you have huge images, background or downloads, you might face timeouts and very slow server speed often. That is if we don’t mention quite accurate downtimes every once in a while. The server is really down quite often (compared to paid hosts, of course) and since the support is only via forum, I must say you can’t really get your problem solved unless someone in the hosting team will actually bother to fix it. Hostlinking to your own images is disabled.

However, if your site is not business oriented, and downtime does not automatically results in dramatic losses, AdwardSpace could be a great solution for a clean, ads free website, forum or blog.

The service is provided free, and is not supported by ads only because they hope that with time you will upgrade to paid hosting, which is quite cheap yet provides a lot more features and guarantees a better uptime and support.
